During the pandemic, separation and distancing had affected many relationships in different situations. I have thus a strong desire to “paint” portraits with wool to keep the precious memories of our beloved ones. I first needle felted my beloved grandma, in the hope of easing my pain thinking of her. After that, I was glad to be commissioned a number of pet portraits by the owners of the furry friends . These wool felt portraits are not just an vivid image for display but are embedded with warm and precious memories between the owner and the pet.
"Every piece tells a story. It marks those remarkable moments, persons or pets that meant to one's life."
